Bridgetown Lions Role With Northwood inTouch PDF Print E-mail

Northwood inTouch is a non-profit organization from Halifax that provides a number of help units for seniors and people with disabilities. The help units allow seniors and others to live in their home longer and gives them ( and their family ) peace of mind and more independence. The help units include medical alarms, medication dispensers, fall detectors ( and much more ) that are connected to their phone system.

The Bridgetown Lions Club has helped to install and maintain these help units for Northwood since the early 1970s. Lions' volunteers have helped hundreds of seniors in the community to live more productive and happier lives.

Lions volunteer year round and enjoy visiting the many seniors who need our assistance. In the true sense of the Lion's motto- We serve."
